  • mike: Lead Pastor

    Married to: Kara - Dad to: PJ, Maggie, Luke, and Matthew

    In 2005 Mike and a courageous group from Northbrook Church stepped out to help start Kettlebrook. Before this, Mike and his wife Kara lived for eight years in Irkutsk, Russia (Siberia) as church planters, where they helped start churches and encourage pastors in that area. Mike graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in business management and marketing. After completing a year internship at his home church in Brookfield, Wisconsin, he worked in the business world for several years while preparing to go overseas. Mike and Kara were married in 1994 and have four great kids. He enjoys biking, swimming, and running (occasionally he will do all three in a Triathlon). Mike loves West Bend and can't believe he gets to live the life he does!


  • troy loether: West Bend Site Pastor

    Married to: Stephanie - Papa to: Chloe, Tianna, Isaac, and Ephraim

    Troy is the West Bend Site Pastor. Troy received his BBA from UW-Madison. Following a four-year career in the marketplace with Johnson Controls, Troy left to pursue his Masters of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, which he completed in December of 2007. Both Troy and his wife Stephanie came to know Jesus Christ while in the context of authentic, relational discipleship groups and both have a passion for the transformation that can take place in these environments. Troy’s favorite pastime is spending time with other people, especially Stephanie and their four children. Troy enjoys being active and playing just about any sport. Even though Troy and Stephanie are not from West Bend, they have grown to care deeply for the city over the past decade living here. They are also are excited to raise their four children here and are blessed to see all that God is doing in the community.

  • Ryan LaTour: JACKSON SITE PASTOR & PASTOR OF MISSIONAL LIVING

    Married to: Libby - Dad to: Myah and Benjamin

    Ryan LaTour is the Jackson Site Pastor and the Pastor of Missional Living for Kettlebrook. Ryan grew up in the Twin Cities and attended UW-La Crosse where he received his B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science teaching. After earning his Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2004, Ryan and Libby moved to Milwaukee, WI to plant and pastor Mosaic Milwaukee Church. Ryan stayed in that role until joining the staff of Kettlebrook in January 2009. Ryan is passionate about helping people become Christ-followers who help others follow Christ, seeking to reflect the goodness of Jesus in all of life: work, marriage, parenting, relationships, finances. He’s been married to Libby since 1999 and they have two children: Myah and Benjamin. For fun, Ryan likes coaching sports, hunting, walks with his bride and time with friends. P.S. His wife likes the Packers.

  • dan kelm: Kewaskum Site Pastor

    Married to Charise – papa to: Aria and Noah

    Dan is the Kewaskum Site Pastor and oversees the Music & Worship Ministry at Kettlebrook Church. Dan grew up in Brookfield, WI and met his wife Charise while pursuing his BA in Ministry at Trinity International University. Dan continued on to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, completing an MA in Christian Thought in 2006. That same year, Dan & Charise were married and Dan began working in Youth & Worship Ministry at Christ Church, in Mequon, WI, while Charise pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Dan & Charise are passionate about relational ministry, and Dan loves teaching God’s Word, seeing others understand it, apply it, and respond back to God in worship & praise. For fun, Dan & Charise love to travel, invite people over, and relax at a café with a cup of coffee. Dan's favorite ways to unwind are fishing, shooting, watching sci-fi, reading fiction, and, believe it or not, renovating his house!

  • kim mundinger: Pastor of Children's ministry and family Ministry

    Married to: Jay - Mom to: Jase, Sally, Charlie, Jack, Daniel and Lydia 

    Kim Mundinger is the Children’s Pastor. Her primary role is fostering the faith development of children Birth-Grade 5 and their families. She sincerely loves hanging out with kids and sharing the love of Jesus with them. Kim grew up in the Midwest (Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin) and graduated from Wheaton College with a BA degree in Elementary Education with a Learning Disabilities endorsement. She taught reading to Kindergarten –3rd graders for 3 years in Paducah, KY. After starting a family, Kim became a stay-at-home mom and taught preschool part-time for 2 years. Jay and Kim moved to West Bend in 1996 when Jay had a job transfer. Kim served in various roles in children’s ministry at the church they attended previous to Kettlebrook. Outside of Kettlebrook, Kim enjoys being a mom, walks with her husband, a good laugh with friends, and a good book.


  • david syzdek:  Youth ministry

    David Syzdek is the Youth Pastor for Kettlebrook Church.  David grew up around the suburbs of the Chicago land area and attended Harper College where he received an A.S. in Fire Science as well as a Paramedic license.  David had a job in a career fire department when he felt called to pursue ministry full time.  David grew up going to Camp Awana as a camper and now helps lead multiple ministries at Camp Awana.  David joined the Kettlebrook staff in 2015 in a part time position.  He also helps lead music worship at the gatherings on Sunday mornings.  David loves to connect with youth as well as lead people by striving to live out the Gospel.  He is engaged to be married to Sally in May 2018.  Outside of Kettlebrook, David loves to be outdoors camping, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, and being involved in others' lives.

  • kim: Director of Women's Ministry / Jackson Children's Ministry

    Married to: Curt - Mama to: Jenn, Josh, and Johannah - Grammie to: Gilead, Wyatt, and Ginny

    Kim oversees ministry to women at Kettlebrook and directs children's ministry at the Jackson site. She loves spending time with women individually and in small groups, as well as helping to develop leaders who will disciple others. She also enjoys teaching and hanging out with children. Kim grew up in Indiana and graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Deaf Education. She enjoyed 20 years of teaching all kinds of young people before she and Curt moved to Wisconsin in 2010. They are so thankful to be a part of Kettlebrook Church. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and traveling.

  • Kara: Director of International ministry

    Married to: Mike - Mom to: P.J., Maggie, Luke, and Matthew

    Kara leads the International Ministries Team. The direction of Kara’s life was drastically altered when, at age 19, God convinced her that He loves her and through Jesus wanted a relationship with her. Soon after, Kara realized that Gods’ heart beats for the entire world and she committed to following Him wherever He would lead her. The adventure has taken she and her family across the world and back. Kara considers the role of Mom to be her first and favorite. The rest of her time she balances between her jobs as Director of West Vendors, Inc,, Director of the IMT and coaching the West Bend East girls cross country. Kara’s favorite places in the world to be are: biking down a beautiful road next to Mike, hanging out at home with the kids, or in the kitchen baking something sweet.
