Katherine views it a privilege to serve as a volunteer on the Reach Local team, which seeks to support and create intentional connections with Washington County non-profits that serve the most vulnerable in our community. Katherine’s servant heart is a great reflection of Jesus, and leads her to serve in many capacities, which include: Kettlebrook’s Compassion Ministry, “Rising Stars” Children’s Ministry Teacher in Jackson, KidCo Supervisor, Client Advocate at Seed of Hope Center, Slinger Library Board of Trustees Member, and Slinger Kiwanis Club Member.
Katherine loves engaging in women's Bible study and discipleship groups. She and her husband, Nate, enjoy co-leading a small group together. Nate currently serves on Kettlebrook's Elder board. They have two children, Madelynn and Caleb, who are both involved in Kettlebrook's Youth Ministry.
Katherine, on the ways God is growing her says, “God uses various things to grow me in my faithful devotion of Him and to speak to me. They include: time in His Word, time in prayer and reflection of my own life and how He's at work in both my life and those around me. God often points out how I can love my husband and kids better and shepherd them wisely. Years ago, while serving at Seed of Hope, the Holy Spirit convicted me that I need to offer all of my clients prayer, which has been a powerful thing.”
