Kara loves serving as the Director of Reach Global. After serving in Russian for 8 years, she and her husband moved to West Bend when their children were young to lead the start of Kettlebrook. Their four children are now grown, two of them are married, and they have two wonderful grandchildren. They love to road bike, hike, walk and spend time with friends.

God uses Kara’s time spent with refugees in West Bend, with the youth of Kettlebrook and with the girls she coaches (cross country and track at West Bend East High School) to show her more of what He is like and to challenge her to love people like He does.
