Everyone loves a good story. Theaters are filled with people wanting to momentarily escape reality and enter into a grand drama larger than themselves. Good versus evil, unresolved tension, noble sacrifices, climactic conclusions; these all tug at our soul and we ache to be a part of something significant and profound.

Perhaps that’s because we are meant to be.

From the very beginning of time God has been writing his story, his epic throughout history and found in the pages of scripture. And now he invites us to participate with him and take our role in His story. But in order to do that we need to understand our place, our context in the narrative; and in order to do that we need to explore the narrative thus far…
