All s.t.a.r.s (Birth through first grade)

Adult volunteers commit to being in the rooms regularly which creates a safe, fun and loving environment in our four All STARS rooms. Age-appropriate toys and games are offered. A curriculum based program is used for children age three years to first grade with worship, teaching and supplemental activities.

  • Nursery (birth to 18 months)

In this room, children spend time bonding with their room leader, classroom helpers and the other children in the room. A Bible story may be read to children individually or as a group. Children also play with age appropriate toys and possibly have a snack.

In the nursery, we focus on speaking truth over children so they understand and feel embraced by God’s love. They are uniquely created by God. They are loved by Jesus. God Is always with them.

  • Toddler (age 18 months to 3)

As in the nursery, in this room, children spend time bonding with their room leader, classroom helpers and the other children in the room. A Bible story may be read to children individually or as a group. Children also play with age appropriate toys and possibly have a snack.

In the toddler room, we focus on speaking truth over children so they understand and feel embraced by God’s love. They are uniquely created by God. They are loved by Jesus. God Is always with them.

  • Preschool (ages 3-4)

For the first part of the morning, children are given the opportunity to build relationships with each other and their room leaders. We engage children in God’s story through songs that teach scripture and Biblical truths, as well as storytelling/teaching times.

In the preschool room, we focus on teaching children the truths of God’s Word and how it applies to their lives.  God’s Word is true and it is relevant. Children will hear stories from Scripture and how they connect to God’s big story. They will also learn that Jesus is the center and hero of the story and because of what He has done on the cross, we can choose to love and follow Jesus.

  • EArly elementary (grades K-1)

For the first 15 minutes, the children are given the opportunity to build relationships with each other and their room leaders. Children will then engage in worship and age appropriate Bible teaching for about 30 minutes. The final 15 minutes may include coloring, active games, or snacks. Parents are given a take-home sheet with key points from the teaching.

In the early elementary room, we focus on teaching children the truths of God’s Word and how it applies to their lives. God’s Word is true and it is relevant. Children will hear stories from Scripture and how they connect to God’s big story. They will also learn that Jesus is the center and hero of the story and because of what He has done on the cross, we can choose to love and follow Jesus.

Rising S.t.a.r.s (second through fifth grade)
